I'll let you know in this review if they make it right. So, any relaxation from my massage is gone because I'm ticked off that I actually paid. When my husband gets home, he will also probably be so upset that he'll call them and demand a partial refund. Let's hope so.

I scheduled a massage with their only massage lady (I forget her name), at 2:15pm. I was early to my appointment, but the masseur was late. We started my massage at 2:30. She had a nice touch, and I had also ordered the cupping. Here's my big complaint - She gave me a 45 minute massage, ending at 3:15. She had to stop because she had a client after me.

I'm actually really mad at myself that I didn't refuse to pay for an hour. If this ever happens again at any massage place I go to, I will only pay for the duration of the actual massage. It really ticks me off, and I will not go back, and everyone in my family goes to this place for the massage because of how we like her touch, but we will not be coming back, unless they offer me some sort of refund.

I had been using Essentials Spa for waxing for about 3 years. They do a wonderful job and the facilities are beautiful, especially by Denton standards. They carry a great line of makeup and skin care products, but very pricey.

I have had many massages, and been to many spas. I've been loyal to this one because I genuinely liked it. I've had facials here (for my wedding in May 2011), massages, and I've bought massages for family members here. So I'm no rookie when it comes to how massages should work.

My only qualm was always the unfortunate attitude of Tami, the owner. She runs an excellent business, and is good at what she does, but is just not always very friendly or caring.

Having had massages all over the world and owned a bed and breakfast and had 6 massage therapist work for me...I feel like I am qualified to judge who is good and who is not LOL Staci in my book is awesome for deep tissue work..Strong wonderful hands and knows her business.. Am very impressed with the Spa very clean and well kept. Glad to have discovered it.

SO I WAS STILL CHARGED FOR A ONE HOUR MASSAGE, even though my masseur was LATE to our appointment and only worked me for 45 minutes. I told this to the receptionist (a nice girl), and she sympathized and apologized, but didn't offer me any recompense. I don't think she knew what to do. I paid in full (massage was $70 + cupping was $10 add on), and I tipped $5 because I DON'T KNOW WHY. So, I paid $85 to get a 45 minute massage!!??

I have been a client with Essentials Day Spa for many years, and have received services in every area from each one of them who work there and find them to be amazing... I refer my friends and family here often! Tammy gives the best facial in town - she is extremely attentive to me, and keeps my skin youthful - which we all need! The whole environment is perfect - Thanks for taking such good care of me!

I get a massage here about once a month and literally, Staci is so good at what she does my legs are like baby giraffe legs when she is done. I also get a facial here, and Tami is the ONLY person (including the numerous dermatologists) i have gone to who has made a difference in my skin. LOVE LOVE LOVE it here, do yourself a favor and go! In fact all of our employees go here to get their body worked on and a majority of our clients.
