To those of you who cannot fathom why our delivery range is only 1 mile. Our franchise advertises fast sandwiches therefore they limit our range to keep delivery times down. Yelling at me/complaining/asking for the manager is not going to change that. If we delivered to every person that complained about being out of range then what would be the point of having one???
Best value sandwich you can find. May not be the most delicious but when you’re balling on a budget, this more than does the job.
Lastly managers are allowed to be mean to you during the night shift. They have been tackled, cursed at, and had food thrown at them. If you're being obnoxious you're out. College students are the worst at being drunk.
Not sure what everyone is talking about regarding poor customer service or rudeness but perhaps they should check their own perception? I've been going to this Jimmy Johns since living in Denton for the past four years!!! I have NEVER had one bad experience with long waits or poor customer service! In fact everyone is always very nice and accommodating. The food is good too!
Can't get the pictures out of my head...pretty gnarly to see someone sneeze into hands then handle food.
I've never had a problem with the food or service. It is basically at the UNT campus too...major plus.
As for customer service it really just depends on what time of day you come in. There are 3 different managers throughout the day with their own management style. On top of that jimmy johns has a low retention rate for their employees so there are always new people in training. Its a 50% chance that your cashier is a newbie that doesn't fully know the procedure yet (for example they might not know to always ask you if you want a receipt).
The meat and vegetables are freshly sliced each morning and used within 2 days. Our bread does not sit out any longer than 4 hours even though it could last longer (hence why we sell day old bread).
As a current employee at this location I can tell you that the kitchen and customer area are probably the cleanest in all of Denton. We clean the bathrooms at least 3 times a day and everything behind the counter must be clean and ready for service at all times.
