This is one of my favorite buildings in denton. The old timey look and history behind it reminds us of how far we've come as a city.
Two historic houses: Bayless Selby House and Quakertown House. Future structures are planned including a cabin. Denton Community Market is here Saturday mornings. Great location. Great effort. Buildings are carefully restored. Denton's history is pretty short, do walking through the Bayless Selby home is kind of like if you went to Grandma's house and pretended it was a museum. The Quakertown House has a dramatic story and the exhibits are enlightening. Visiting is better when there's a special event.
Fun family and date adventure. Tour is great but alittle short
We visited the Bayless Selby house for a story tour, and were excited to hear of all the new Historical sites being brought into the Park. We are so blessed to have free access to the fascinating history of Denton!
