i have gone to this school 3 years and let me tell you each year was amazing i would recommend it my favorite year was 5th mrs allen , mr surez ,mrs van pelt mrs murray ,mrs lopez it if weren't for them i think i would have failed staar they helped me learn some much and they some of the best people i have ever met in my life and all of the friends i made bye 5 grade teachers i hope every year is as great as this one was
McNair has been wonderful to us and they have a great faculty.
My Son has been going to McNair for about 3 years now. I can say that some teachers in the 4th and 5th grade take their job a little too seriously. They can be rude and impatient with the children. I would say just be involved and communicate with your child. Teachers can be bullies too. Other than this I really love the lady at the front office. I can see she really loves what she does as she always is polite and helpful.
One of the older elementary schools in the Denton Independent School District but it's a well ran school in a very good location in Denton. I went here when I was in Elementary.
UPDATE: My oldest has been going to McNair for 3 years now and my next oldest has been here for 2 years. We've always loved it here and I think it gets even better with time. More and more of the faculty know us by name and they are always smiling. Mrs. Cano is wonderful. When I bring the kids inside in the morning, if she's standing in the hall, all the kids take turns giving her hugs. It's nice to see my kids going to a school that the principal and other faculty aren't so busy that they can't take time out for the kids. I think the kids should feel at home at their school and mine definitely do.
