A nice park with very sad history. It is now enjoyed by all.
Right by the Civic Center, and aside the North Denton Library Quakertown Park is a delight. Picnic tables, plenty of trash containers (more important than we realise), beautiful trees, quite a little oasis.
I praise The LORD Jesus Christ. for sending his people to Share his Unfailing Love / and encouragement. I'm also grateful for the other activities and events that happened at this Park.
This park is the best, it host the Jazz fest, the blues fest and so much more. It is also in the heart of our town reaching the civic center, city hall, community swimming pool, senior center, main library and post office. Most important park in Denton!!!!
Super crummy origins but a lovely park today. Home to our jazz festival. Good playground for the kiddos. Just wish the City had exercised more integrity in the acquisition of this land. :(
