Wash it all down with any of their premium margaritas. They're all extremely good. Ignore the price, which is stupidly high... it doesn't matter at this point. Just say, "yes", I'll have another. Skip dessert and wander down to Beth Marie's to cap off an amazing meal with some of the best ice cream known to man. There you have it... my fool-proof method for an awesome experience at Chuy's. Enjoy!
Yes, hatch chili pepper sauce is great. Really great. But boom-boom is called boom-boom for a reason. The abundant overflow (resulting from the strategic use of the word "smothered") can be mixed with rice and/or beans for an experience that can only be described as "other-worldly." Oh, and get plenty of the creamy jalapeno dip. That's a given.
Typically not a fan of Chuy's Tex-Mex have tried a few places and not what I like and accustomed to on enchiladas or chili relleno BUT ordered the steak fajitas this time and split with a friend. They were really good and will go back for those in other places. If you share with a friend and want 2 each ask for another tortilla we only got 3 but for us was plenty. Tender meat and seasoned well.
Friendly staff and a good food. The cluttered atmosphere made me a bit dizzy tho.
Spectacular food. Excellent service. The only catch is that you'll smell like Chuys for the rest of the day.
One of my all time favorite places to eat. Great Tex-Mex food with a fun atmosphere. They also have great drinks, very good margaritas. I like the nacho bar as well. This is a fun tasty place to eat. One of the best local chain restaurants I have eaten at. I will be back again.
OK, here's my advice for having an awesome experience at Chuy's... no matter what food you order, ask for it to be smothered in boom-boom sauce. My personal fav is the giant steak burrito. But seriously, it doesn't really matter. Please note however, you must use the word, "smothered." Eye contact is critical at this point. They will happily oblige. And your tastebuds will thank you.
