Great atmosphere, the owners, Karen and Steve, are great hosts and they have a great monthly wine club. Bring in some Thai food or Mellow Mushroom pizza from the restaurants next door to the bar and enjoy a very relaxing evening.

Steve's is quite the wine bar, don't let the store front or branding fool you. They have a very knowledgeable staff willing to answer any questions and even provide tastings on any beverage you may be considering. The space can be a little cramped when they have live music, but goodness, don't miss out on the music. Absolute Denton Jazz legends play here. Can't really compare price as I don't frequent many other wine bars. Check it out!
One of my favorite places to spend an evening in Denton! I like to be comfortable when I drink wine and Karen and Steve provide just that... a quaint, comfortable environment to try new wines. Karen is my favorite Historian and Steve keeps the business model working. We are members of his "wine club", which translates to a planned monthly wine date where we leave with two wines we haven't tried before. He does a fantastic job keeping the monthly wines interesting and uses his creative skills to keep the tasting list fun and a bit educational. Come with or without knowledge of wine and you will leave each time knowing a bit more about wine. You can make your experience at Steve's as fancy or as down to earth as you want... it's Denton, after all! I kinda like the exposed brick on the inside too

I wish I could give this place a hundred stars! Excellent service from the moment we walk in.. to checking out! We love to shop local and you can't go wrong with Steve's Wine Bar! They know wine and will be happy to suggest anything you might have a craving for...and they are 100% spot on with their suggestions. We never feel rushed. And if by chance, there is not a table available..we go outside to sit with our wine and talk and people watch and drink more wine..
