My most recent experience was absolutely terrible. The only reason for the second star is the level of care I received from daytime nursing staff. I have consistently gone to Denton Presby because of the care and treatment I have received in the past from employees there, however I will not be returning. Overwhelmingly, my negative interactions were with evening nursing staff (and one sonogram tech in ER). Each doctor I encountered in my recent visit was caring, compassionate, and acted quickly to assist me with my issues. My pain management preceding and following an invasive surgical procedure was absolutely appalling. Additionally, safety precautions were not consistently followed, and I was often left by myself in the restroom to navigate back to my bed with an unplugged IV tree while still struggling to transfer after surgery. Most concerning was my discharge- following an invasive abdominal surgery that required a morphine drip for pain management, I was told to “pick up some ibuprofen on my way home”. When I followed up with my doctor to get prescriptions for the numerous side effects they did not adequately prepare me for, she was appalled at the treatment and lack of care I had received. I will NEVER return to Denton Presby as a patient.
Everything seemed great. Dr was informative nurses nice. 1 bathroom had a TP prob which I told a nurse and she got it cleaned up. Over all everything is great thus far. Holding out my last star till surgery!
Staff is great and very helpful. I try to always come here when i need the emergency room. Had all but one of 3v surgeries. I was born here and so was my daughter.
Horrible Horrible Place! They yelled out my personal info. in front of the whole emergency room. Hippa law they clearly didn't have training in. These docs come out of a cracker jack box!! Read BBB reviews, consumer affairs. They have like a 2 star rating. RUDE RUDE STAFF.
Terrible place. Went for stomach pain back in July of 2017, the doctor who saw me was great and found the problem as quickly as possible. The parts that followed are what have ruined my visit and caused me so much stress. The lady who took my insurance card read it wrong and insisted I pay $400 out of pocket, and I was dehydrated, and too tired to argue with her why, only to later find out that my insurance covered my ER visit 100%. I got refunded $400 eventually after speaking with insurance. Now in November i am receiving a letter stating I am past due on a bill of $470, and that I have been turned over to collections. No prior notice. Not to mention the ER gave me a referral to a gastrointestinal doctor in the same hospital system who refused to take my referral. Nightmare of a place. Absolute morons taking insurance. Scammers too.
