I visited Health Services of North Texas yesterday for the 2nd time. My first visit was quick because I just needed to get my flu shot. My visit yesterday was out of utter desperation! I was sick. I called the office around 2pm to see if I could get a last minute appointment . The woman who answered the phone was sympathetic and told me they had one appointment at 4:20pm that had not been confirmed. She said they would give that other patient a call to see if they were coming in and that she'd give me a call back to let me know. Long story short....I got an appointment!

Before I could get the paperwork finished they called me back, again helping me. The Nurse came in to do my triage. She was smiling and attentive. After a very short wait the Dr came in.

Thru this whole process every one of them asked me if I needed a wheelchair. I want Texas to know this entire office is absolutely beyond amazing. I am in the middle of changing my insurance Co. I called and made sure Dr. Moyle accepted my new insurance or I was going to stay with my existing insurance.

He wanted to know everything about my health. He paused time and time again, being very patient with me as I was trying to remember everything. He talked with me and answered every single one of my questions, no matter how simple they were.

A Nurse came to me and helped me get into the office and she also checked me in so I could be seated. Then the amazing ladies at the front brought all the paperwork out to me so I wouldn't have to walk as I was in alot of pain.

I've heard good things about Dr. Nuspel, but this place is apparently WAY understaffed for patient demand. My brother has been dealing with a toe infection that could possibly affect his bloodstream, and there's been no sense of urgency shown by the front desk staff to have it addressed. Their response is "sorry, call back tomorrow (or next week)" for several days in a row. I'm beginning to wonder if this place overall is not much more than a glorified Care Now. Sorry, but this isn't the common cold -- it's a months-long infection that needs to be addressed asap. However, this place serves as a prime example of what's wrong with the modern health care industry.

I waited for less than 10 minutes in the waiting room before being taken to an exam room. My whole experience was such a relief. A sinus infection that could have kept me from visiting my nephew in Austin was taken seriously and treated with an antibiotic. I feel so much better today.

Dr. John Moyle came thru the door with a big smile, he sat down and from the minute he walked in I knew he really did care about what was going on with me. He was very thorough, always making eye contact.

UPDATE: I spoke to Teri Johnson this afternoon, and she was very helpful in seeing to it that my brother is scheduled for an appointment tomorrow. We'll see how that goes tomorrow, and I hope that this will lead to the infection issue being adequately resolved. Thank you Teri for your assistance in this situation.

At checkout the Nurses and the ladies at the desk were so kind and caring. I just stood there almost in tears at the compassion I was seeing with every patient, including me. I had to go for Labs and again, a Nurse walked me to the office next door, checked me in, and made sure I was ok.

He listened to what I was saying, asking questions as I spoke. He was on top of referring me to Ortho for surgery, and addressed all my issues with a solution. I don't think I've ever been blessed with a Dr. like this young man. He truly is one in a million. I walked away confident I was in good hands.

I'm a new patient at this facility. As with any new patient your not really sure how the appointment will go. From the moment I got out of my car and was having difficulties walking into the office I was helped.

Overall, it was a great experience and I'm feeling more like myself today!

Each person I encountered at HSNT was kind and concerned. The medical assistant, Azaira, was excellent at her job. You could tell that she liked her job. Jennifer, the Nurse Practitioner, gave me practical advice and I felt comfortable being honest with her. The woman who handled my check out, Marisol, was sweet and thorough (EVEN at the end of the day!)

Very compassionate Doctors and nurses, and front desk staff. They were a Godsend when I was going there, God bless them all.

Thank you Dr Moyle. Thank you Ladies both front end and back. Thank you Health Services of North Texas.

I’ve been coming to this office for around almost two years now. Normally I don’t ever have any problems. The last visit though was awful. The lady who works at the desk to the right as soon as you walk in and go through the other door is extremely disrespectful. She honestly looks like she hates her job. If you ask her a question it’s almost like you’re bothering her. I went to get my daughter her well child checkup and she said I needed my shot records. I didn’t understand why because when my daughter enrolled in school I picked up my records from this location. She looked through the system and couldn’t find them. So they just disappeared? When I offered to get them faxed from the nurse at the school she basically told me I needed to bring them myself. On top of that I took off the whole day from work and my daughter from school to be seen. Then when she said that she would have to reschedule the appointment she said that she only had an 11 am appointment. So of course I took it but that would only mean I miss more work and my daughter more school. So I called the actual scheduling number and they were able to get her into a 9am appointment. Is this office that incompetent? Also have you looked at how many “1” star reviews you have? Shouldn’t that make you want to be better and have a better staff?
