Best veterinarian in town in my opinion. Wouldn't take my cat anywhere else.
All in all I wasted 129$ and over an hour of my time at this vet. Not ever going here again. I would recommend Dr. Cody Bullock at South Denton Animal Hospital. Excellent prices for services that go above and beyond.
ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. One of the worst vets that I have ever been to. Its not the vet. It's the people that work for her. The first incident was months ago. I took my dog in and told the lady that she was scared of getting a check up. The lady said that she knew that. It was time for my dog to get a shot and she was pushing on the back of my dogs neck trying to force her to lay down on the table. She was also holding her by the collar. My dogs back feet then slipped off the table and the assistant was still holding her by the collar dangling her off the table. My dog cried out and peed all over herself. She then hid under the table. The assistant then told me to get away from my dog, who was hiding and let her come to me. No, No, No. That is my pet and I will go to her if I please. The next incident was very recent. I hadn't gone back to that vet for very obvious reasons. I decided to give it one more shot. I called the vet to ask them if they had anything to give my dog for anxiety before bringing her in to get her nails trimmed. I figured that this was a valid offer and they have done this for a previous dog that I had. They have me a 10mg pill for a 50 pound dog. Now I was not aware of the mg per pound ratio of the specific medication. So I gave my dog the pill at 8am, my appointment was at 10am. By 10am the pill was not working on her. She was very anxious getting in the car. I called the vet and whoever answered the phone said that she would talk to the vet and call me back. This was on January 27, 2016. They called me back today, February 8th at 3pm and put me on hold for 10 minutes before I hung up our of frustration.
Today was my first time going here and all the staff and Dr. Adams were very friendly and seem to actually care for my puppy. Highly recommend!!
They have awful customer service. I will never ever use this vet again. We have moved on to a vet in Sanger that has a much more friendly staff.
I brought my cat and her 5 week old kittens in because the kittens were losing fur and the places the fur was missing the skin was dry and flaky. The receptionist was rude, first telling me that I couldn't hold my cat while she was on the scale then told me not to let her run off when my cat took off the moment I took my hands off of her. Wouldn't let me finish my sentences. The vet was nice but had to consult a book about if the kittens were too young to be given oral medicine. The vet kept getting drawn away to assist other clients and my visit ended up being like an hour long when it should've taken like 15-20 minutes. The cost of the medicine was 84$ for a tiny ass bottle and overall cost of the visit was over 100$. She told me that it wouldn't be until like mid July until the kittens were healed of ringworm. I went to my original vet- I only went here because I was concerned that the kittens had mange and would get worse before I could go to my original vet- who charged me half of what I had to pay. He gave me a much bigger bottle of oral meds for the kittens at half the price this vet charged. My vet said that it would probably be about mid-June when the kittens would be able to go to their new homes. What I paid here I paid half at my original vet.
I used Dr Nat Adams from 2002-2008 I only only left her practice because I had heard she went out of business due to illness. I searched for years for another vet like her that had the wisdom and care that Nat has for animals. In 2015 I found out that she was still in business. After having my dog misdiagnosed for over a year I took her to Nat and it is the first time we had good results on how to treat and care for my dog's stomach issues. Nat has always been right on when diagnosing my pets. In addition her prices being fair , I never feel like I left with out getting all my questions answered as well as not having unnecessary procedures done. I highly recommend Nat for you dog and cats!
